Lift your mood and move your feet! Join Club 300, a free senior walking program that will "virtually" take you from the east to west coast of America! Earn rewards along the way.

Program Overview

Club 300 is a senior walking program sponsored by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation, Special Programs Division's Senior Services Unit. What began as a virtual walk across Maryland, one mile at a time (a total of 300 miles), has grown and blossomed into a virtual walk across America! Due to the popularity and success of Club 300, the program will continue as a year round senior walking program.

Please note: On December 31, 2020, the Walk Across America Challenge will come to an end. There will be a new and exciting walking club challenge announced early in 2021.

Club 300 Weekly Walks have Resumed!

All walks are on Monday morning beginning at three start times: 8 am, 8:30 am, and 9 am. The walks will conclude by 11 am. Pre-registration through PARKS DIRECT is required to attend all Club 300 walks. You will need a Parks Direct account to register. We will be walking in groups of no more than 10 people. Everyone attending the group walk must wear a face covering, practice social distancing, bring your own water, and your own snack if needed. Your temperature will be taken upon arrival at your walk start time. We will not be permitted to congregate after the walk. We will say hello and give virtual hugs from 6 feet apart!
