Give A Kid A Chance

The Department of Parks and Recreation has launched an exciting new initiative to give underprivileged and at-risk youth the opportunity to participate in enriching recreational programs not otherwise accessible due to financial barriers or other hardships. The “Give a Kid a Chance” scholarship fund’s mission is to ensure that all youth who are interested in trying out a new leisure pursuit or attending a camp will have the opportunity to pursue that passion in their free time.

There are many ways you can support “Give a Kid a Chance.” M-NCPPC will host several fundraising programs to help sponsor these youth activities throughout the year. By volunteering your time or making a financial contribution, you can help us serve many deserving kids throughout Prince George’s County.
