Free Swims
Cool down from the summer heat with FREE swimming at all 10 M-NCPPC pools Friday and Saturday evenings from 4 pm-close, June 18 - September 5. All you need is your M-NCPPC Youth ID card (also FREE!) and parental supervision (if you’re 11 or younger). Where to find Free Swims in Prince George’s County Safe Summer Program (ages 12-17) Aquatics opportunities are being offered through the Safe Summer program, which features extended hours at M-NCPPC facilities across the Prince George’s County. If you’re age 12-17, you can enjoy FREE swimming on Friday and Saturday nights (June 25- August 14) from 10 pm-midnight at Allentown Fitness & Splash Park and Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex. Learn more about the Safe Summer program » FREE water safety program The Department of Parks and Recreation has joined forces with the USA Swimming Foundation’s “Make a Splash” initiative to offer FREE Water Safety and Swim Lessons to young people in Prince George’s County this summer. The program will offer 480 spaces to participants ages 6-17 who hold FREE M-NCPPC Youth IDs. There are four Make a Splash sites, including Allentown Fitness & Splash Park in Fort Washington, Fairland Aquatic Center in Laurel, Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, and Rollingcrest-Chillum Splash Pool in Chillum.
