2.5 Arts

M-NCPPC’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Division (ACHD) manages art centers that offer art exhibitions of emerging and established artists, dance and music concerts, performances for children and families, teas, festivals, and classes in the visual and performing arts.  Programs such as Café Groove, Expressions and The Prince George’s Children’s Theatreencourage youth to explore their own creativity.  Several performance and exhibition spaces are available for rental by community-based arts organizations.  M-NCPPC partners with other agencies to provide festivals and other arts related activities, and county-based artists can receive information on professional development, exhibition, performance and teaching opportunities.
