Spring 2010
Love 2 Dance Summit and Showcase
Teen dancers participate in an intensive day of dance workshops at Joe’s Movement Emporium. The second Love 2 Dance Showcase will feature outstanding teen companies in concert at the Publick Playhouse. For more information and applications, call 301-446-3238, TTY 301-446-3234.


Summer 2010
Teen Performance Ensemble and Prince George’s Children’s Theatre
From June through July, these two teen theatre troupes offer teen actors summer jobs performing original musical plays to thousands of children in playgrounds and day camps. Auditions and rehearsals for teen actors are held in April at Harmony Hall Regional Center and Prince George’s Plaza Community Center.

Expressions: Talk Up, Not Down Summer Camp
This one-week, overnight summer camp involves local poets who lead teens through intense writing and performance preparation activities to teach them to use spoken word as an alternative to violence. Joe’s Theatre Tech Program
Joe's Movement Emporium

Joe’s is now hiring in-school or out-of-school teens and young adults ages 16- 21 for Joe’s Theatre Tech Program. Teens will learn skills in theatre, studio production and audiovisual systems that will help them become competent in technical theatre and referred for employment in the arts and entertainment community.
