3.1 Community CentersCommunity centers are great places to drop-in and hang out, take a class, play games, work out or chill. There are more than M-NCPPC community centers throughout Prince George’s County, so it’s easy to find one near you. Just use  Find a Park to search for a center by ZIP code.

Total Access: Youth ID Cards

Get a Youth ID card, and you’ll have an all-access pass that gets you in to hot happenings at M-NCPPC community centers countywide. They are FREE to Prince George’s County residents ages 6-17 — teens ages 13-17 also receive access to community center fitness/weight rooms (if you’re 13-15, you’ll need supervision by an adult with a valid fitness pass). Stop by any M-NCPPC community center to get your FREE Youth ID card today.

Xtreme Teens Weekend Program

Looking for something to do Friday and Saturday nights? Come hang here! The Xtreme Teens Weekend Program is open to teens 13-17 every Friday and Saturday evening from 7-10 pm at community centers countywide. You’ll find lots of exciting recreational, educational and cultural programs in a fun, laid-back environment — plus, the community centers will be open to teens only at these times! All you need is a FREE M-NCPPC Youth ID card.

Other Programs

Every community center offers lots of fun teen and pre-teen programs, so be sure to contact your local center to learn about all the cool things that are going on. You can also search and register for programs online using SMARTlink.
