The First Tee of Prince George’s County
www.thefirstteeprincegeorgescounty.org
Youth development through the game of golf...that’s what The First Tee, a program by The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, is proud to sponsor. The program is targeted especially for those who have not previously had exposure to the game. A unique component of the program is the integration of life skills emphasizing responsibility, integrity, and respect for the values of the game, with instruction and training about the sport.

Three levels of participation include:
  • Par Level: Offers new golfers (ages 7-17) basic instructions and training
  • Birdie Level: Provides progressive training and playing opportunities
  • Eagle Level: Promotes advanced instruction and tournament play
Each level has an evaluation process to graduate to the next level.
