Looking for a fun way to fulfill your school’s service learning hours requirement? A new Building Block Sessions begins in March! Sign up for the Building Block Volunteer Training Program! These valuable training sessions are designed to assist teens ages 13–17 as they venture into the worlds of volunteering and working. There are four main "block" sessions, and you can sign up for any block you like or sign up for all four. For each one you complete, you will receive service learning hours. Youth ID cards are now available FREE to residents ages 6-17!
These cards allow youth FREE access to M-NCPPC's community centers throughout Prince George's County, and to many drop-in programs at the centers. With a FREE Youth ID card, teens ages 13-17 may enjoy Xtreme Teens Recreation Programs, and may use community center fitness/weight rooms for free. (Adult supervision is required in fitness/weight rooms for those ages 13-15.) Stop by any M-NCPPC community center to get your new, FREE, youth ID.
CAFÉ GROOVE

The Arts and Cultural Heritage Division has an ongoing initiative to encourage teenagers to use artistic expression as a means by which to further develop their intellectual prowess and set a positive example for their communities.

XTREME TEENS SCENE PROGRAM
The Special Programs Division's Xtreme Teens Scene Program is designed for teens with developmental disabilities, ages 13-20, who reside in Prince George's County, are able to function in a small group, and can participate in community-based activities. The activities vary and are offered two weekend days per month. There are two meeting locations: Glenn Dale Community Center and Marlow Heights Community Center.
